Yes, I am

So, my birthday is this week . . . and although I am not in the least bit excited about turning another year older, I was very excited about my early birthday present from Jeremy! He was very tricky, and did a good job at surprising me. So, this is how it played out . . . He was supposed to be gone for work for my b-day week (and his), and I was pretty bummed about that. He was home this past Monday, and we were getting him all ready to go. We woke up on Tuesday morning, the morning he was leaving, and he got ready and loaded up his packed suitcase with the clothes he had washed the day before. He put everything in his truck and we said good-bye and he was off to the airport! Or at least I thought he was . . . about an hour later, he showed up at my office with balloons, a bag with a DVD and treats, and breakfast!! What a great husband I have!! He got someone to work for him this week so he could be home with me to celebrate! He did a great job in being sneaky, the first I really started wondering if maybe, possibly he wasn't working was on Monday night, but he was doing enough to make me think he was leaving, I was so confused!! And now happy at the way it turned out!! I guess if I have to turn another year older, at least I get to have Jeremy around to make me feel better about it!

I had to add in two things real quick: First, Jeremy had actually known about my surprise for a whole week, so he did an extra good job at keeping it a secret from me! And, Jeremy cracks me up with his randomness sometimes, he is always wrapping presents in a funny way, or as you can see, getting me funny balloons, like the "its a girl" one, I love his sense of humor!
