For the Fourth of July this year, we took a little road trip! Well, actually it ended up being more than a little trip! We went with Jeremy's brother, Jory, and his wife Angie. We drove up through Montana to Glacier National Park, through the park, up to Canada (Cardston, Lethbridge, and Calgary) and through Banff National Park, and back down to Whitefish, Montana for some fireworks, then back down through Montana! It was beautiful! Here are a few pictures in each spot:
Glacier National Park:
Canada:
Complete with Tim Horton's and Cadbury Chocolate!
Cardston, Alberta Temple
Back to the USA to celebrate the Fourth of July:
On the way home . . . The Miracle of America Museum: Huge museum with 130 buildings of things this man had collected or that had been donated to him:
No museum is complete without an alien exhibit:
Flathead Lake in Montana:
We covered alot of miles and saw some of our beautiful country!! Last year at this time Jeremy and I drove the Oregon Coast. I lost all our pictures from that trip, so I'm happy that didn't happen again this year!

Where are the pictures?
Sorry, I don't know what happened, they are up now!
Looks like a fun trip! And you're right, what would a museum without Alien stuff be? Aliens are the miracle of America, I guess. It seems like there are never alien sightings in France.
Beautiful pictures! I'm very glad you didn't lose them this time around. Seeing the fireworks over the water would have been awesome. I'm a bit envious.
Beautiful pics Tonyer. Tom Horton's? I'm in! I want to go with you next time.
Also love the pics of your beautiful garden veggie stir fry. Please cook that for me when I get back. Hope you are having a good time in CA!
That sounds like my kind of vacation!!! First of all, we used to take that trip every four years growing up -- we'd always stop at Seeley Lake in Montana (I was born in Kalispell) on our way to see family in Canada. And I have very fond memories of Glacier National Park. What great pictures you have of your trip! The thing I'm most jealous of, though, is Tim Horton's! I loved eating donut holes from there on my mission!!! Didn't they have a unique name for them?
Oops...I missed this post. I can't believe you were up in my stomping grounds. Had I known, I could have given you some great Canadian candy tips. Mmmmmm. Glad you had fun. Beautiful country :)
