The Best Valentine's Day Yet

happened this last weekend. First of all because it was actually the first one we've been together for since we've been dating and married. It's nice to have your Valentine actually present for the day! It was also nice because I got to take Friday off, Monday was a holiday, and we were able to spend the 4 day weekend on a little trip together! Yay, nothing like time off, a fun trip, and a sweet husband!

On Friday we headed up to Logan to meet up with Kristin and Paul and Jory and Angie for the girls to get our feet Zoned and the guys to hang out. Yes, you read that right, my feet were "zoned". It was a cool experience. If you want to read more about it, you can look here: http://divinehealthandhome.com/Services/Foot_Zoning.html

We were able to spend the night in Logan as part of the Cache Valley Getaway, we had a nice dinner at Hamilton's Steak and Seafood, and a yummy breakfast the next morning at the hotel. Jeremy also got me cheese curds!! So delicious! We visited Jeremy's grandma and stopped at the Hobby Lobby then headed through Logan Canyon to the Garden City Chocolate Festival where we sampled some delicious fudge. While we drove through the canyon, this was the view:

We stayed the rest of the weekend with Jeremy's parents and had a good time playing games, eating, and hanging out. Jeremy took a trip to the Reservoir for some Ice Fishing with his Dad, Jory and Paul:

Jeremy surprised me before we left with some beautiful flowers, an awesome card, and a Valentine's crossword puzzle that he made of different things about us. Very creative, I was impressed! It was a happy day and weekend!

He's a keeper!! This cracked me up since he likes fishing, and even likes it in the freezing cold, I couldn't resist getting it for him! I'm lucky to have my cute, funny, sweet Valentine!

Ahhhhhhh...sweet! Sounds like a fun weekend all around. I'm so happy you got your cheese curds. That was probably better than a day off AND getting your feet zoned, right? I know how you enjoy your curds. I like Jeremy's VD chocolate fish. Who knew that he was an ice fisherman too? The things you learn from a blog. Thanks for the update (about time!)I look forward to our lunch! :)

Hi Tonya, I'm jealous of your fun weekend all together. I wish I could have been a part of it all. I'm glad you had fun and got some "help" with things! I can't wait to hear about all the results from you! Love all the pictures too. Let's go to lunch this week.

That sounds like such a great Valentine's day! Yes, it is nice to have your valentine around. My valentine seemed to bve absent a lot of the day doing service, so I guess I can't really complain. I sure do miss seeing you!

What a fun weekend! Hamilton's is me and Casey's absolute favorite resturant. Just yesterday I was thinking about all of my favorite resturants in Cache Valley and my mouth was watering. I miss that place!
